For the Unapologetically Over 40: The Masterpiece Project, I am setting out to photograph 40 women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond this year. Ultimately, this is not just a series of photoshoots; it is a movement to completely shatter the way we view ourselves as we age.
The Masterpiece Mission
However, if you look at mainstream media, there is an unspoken narrative that women somehow reach their peak in their twenties. After that, society expects us to quietly fade into the background because they tell us to hide, battle, or correct our aging. I catch myself scrolling through heavily filtered, wrinkle-free profile pictures and feeling that exact same pressure to hide my own age.
I am telling you right now: I refuse to accept that narrative and neither should you.
Instead, in my studio, I witness the exact opposite every single day. The women I photograph in their 40s and beyond are the most captivating, complex, and fiercely beautiful women I know. You have lived. Survived heartbreaks, built careers, raised families, and navigated massive life transitions. Truly, you have earned every single ounce of your wisdom and your fire.
Therefore, high-end, magazine-style and boudoir portraiture should not be reserved exclusively for twenty-something fashion models. It belongs to the woman who has spent decades holding the universe together. The woman who is finally ready to step into the spotlight and celebrate exactly who she is right now.

- The Cinematic Reveal: Coming back to the studio (or meeting virtually) to see your beautiful portraits for the very first time.
- The Capstone Feature: We will celebrate and feature your in my final Unapologetically Over 40 magazine plus a gallery exhibition (which I am currently hustling behind the scenes to swing the logistics for—cross your fingers!).
