How many women feel they are not photogenic?  One of the most rewarding things in my job is helping women see they can have amazing portraits no matter what their past photo experiences have been.  Ms J is no exception.  She hasn’t felt beautiful or confident when she was in front of a camera so of course she thought “I’m just not photogenic”.  Can you relate?

Well I love proving people wrong and I will tell you, she is absolutely photogenic and rocked her session.  Scroll down and tell me if you agree!

What was your biggest concern prior to booking your Boudoir Session? How do you feel now?

I guess comfort in the fact that I am not a particularly photogenic person and I was worried that would show in the pictures as it so often does in other pictures. But Cassy made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and did such a wonderful job of helping me pose and I loved it!

Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Cassy compare to your prior experience?

Nope!  And she was so fantastic

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

I wanted a gift to give my BF that showed how he made me feel. I have never felt particularly confident in my skin. He makes me laugh and feel beautiful. And therefore, feel more confident. He is so free with his compliments that I wanted to give him something to show him that he made a difference in my life so I decided to do a boudoir session. And Cassy DELIVERED!!

What, specifically, did you enjoy most about your portrait session and why?

I think it was the laughter.  Cassy made me laugh and feel confident and beautiful in a situation where my nerves could have taken over and made it a tense and difficult situation.  But she was great and helped me to find my footing. I loved that I didn’t really think about my body in terms of all the spots that I hate but I was excited to see how it would turn out in the photos. 

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story.

I won’t say I was magically made into a different person, but Cassy changed how I look at myself in pictures.  I don’t always focus just on the bad but look for the good.  She helped me to realize we all talk ourselves down when we should be finding those beautiful moments.  I am more willing to be in a picture now and just relax and smile.  It’s not always my best but I do look like I enjoy it a lot more now.  

Do you feel your images and the services you received were worth the money you paid? How so?

DEFINITELY!  And the reaction my BF gave me was OUTSTANDING.  I am putting a portrait of myself up which is something I never thought I would do.  I felt amazing and I am so glad I did this.  Also, Cassy is a trustworthy business person who delivered what she promised exactly when she said it would happen.  And that is a big deal.  I would do this again without a doubt.
