I’m celebrating Ms J today- sweet, SPICY, and fun. She came to me hoping to get her groove back. As a mom of 3 and a career woman, she has been putting her needs on the back burner for far too long. When looking in the mirror, she was struggling to see the woman she was and not all the things she was to everyone else: mom, career woman, girlfriend, dog lady. After a long chat via video, she decided a boudoir shoot was just what she needed.

We did a little sweet and brought some spice into her session too. At her View and Order appointment, she was BLOWN AWAY. She finally saw herself for the first time in a long time. She was so ecstatic she booked her next session right then and there. It’s motivated her to take care of her needs and understand, you can’t pour from an empty glass. I can’t wait to get this beauty in front of my lens again. In the meantime, check out her first session and story below.

Tell us your story, a little bit about you and why you decided to do a boudoir session?

After 15 years of marriage and having three kids and then single for 5 years and trying to learn this dating world again I realized that I allowed life to happen.  Now 2 adult children one teenager left, built a good career, moved all over the country from Alaska to the beach on the east coast to Iowa.  I found that I was older, wearing yoga pants and i really couldn’t remember the last time I had really done my makeup. You know the “wow” makeup.  I didn’t feel like a woman !  I felt like a mom, a supervisor, a dog lady, all the things but not a WOMAN.  So I wanted to find a way to find my goddess again to see if my hips could still swing!

What was your biggest concern prior to booking your Boudoir Session? How do you feel now?

I wasn’t sure what to expect.  I knew I needed something sooooo. NOW IM IN LOVE! I AM BEAUTIFUL, SEXY AND STRONG.

Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Cassy compare to your prior experience?

No but I scheduled a second one after completing my first 

What, specifically, did you enjoy most about your portrait session and why?

Cassy made me feel like we had been friends forever.  She made me feel like I was young again!  She laughed with me! She made 100% comfortable!!!

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story.

It made me stand up for myself and has motivated me to get working on my health and show my beauty from within to the outside world.

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

It was so much more.

Is there anything extra you would like to tell us?

 I’ll be back in august to show the difference of what my first did for me.  Proof is in the puddling and I can’t wait
