Hello beautiful Bombshells! I want to talk about “deserving” and being worthy. Both words come up a lot in my line of work. Ms S has been on a rollercoaster for a good portion of her life. As a result, she finally felt she deserved to be pampered. This is not a new concept and I hear this almost daily. A good portion of women reaching out to me also are finally feeling like they deserve celebrating and that got me thinking. What does the word deserve even mean?

The definition of Deserving according to Oxford Languages is worthy of being treated in a particular way. Dictionary.com says meriting; worthy. WORTHY: that word showed up in every single definition I could find using Google. Life had been giving Ms S a few kicks and honestly she was way past “deserving” to be pampered. As women we feel like we have to be deserving or worthy or justify celebrating ourselves. We lift everyone else around us and leave ourselves behind in the process. In other words, we feel we have to accomplish a million selfless things to take a hot minute to breathe and say “I’m pretty kick ass”. I’m here to tell you, YOU ARE WORTHY EVERY DAMN DAY! I think Ms S knows that and, fingers crossed, celebrates herself a little more now. Check out her gorgeous images and spunky personality!

Tell us your story, a little bit about you and why you decided to do a boudoir session?

I have been with my husband for almost 21 years. 2 kids, 3 dogs, and 3 open heart surgeries for our little one. Life hasn’t been easy and pushes us.  I felt like I deserved to be pampered and he could reap some of the benefits as well.

What was your biggest concern prior to booking your Boudoir Session? How do you feel now?

The outfits, the revealing, the whole deal. I felt absolutely amazing!!  I didn’t think I would do just the white sheet, but by the time that came up, it was a free for all. 

Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Cassy compare to your prior experience?

I have not and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

What, specifically, did you enjoy most about your portrait session and why?

There was nothing I didn’t like. She is such an amazing person and we laughed so much!

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story.

I was afraid of looking at the pictures when they were ready. I wasn’t expecting to like so many. She made me feel so comfortable and great about myself. She was so positive and uplifting. 

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

it was not what I expected. I expected to wear some things and be done. I did not expect myself to be so open and care free during the whole process.  I even showed some friends the pictures, I was that comfortable and wanted to show them off!
