Hey there party people! I’ve been looking forward to writing about Ms M’s session. She is that type of person you meet and feel like you’ve known forever. She’s your “ride or die” gal and the sexiest woman alive! 🙂

When we first spoke, we talked about the other boudoir session she had done in the past. It was important for me to understand what she liked and didn’t like so I could focus on making this one a home run. Consultations are probably one of my favorite parts of my job. I have the opportunity to hear from other women what inspires them, what “dips their buckets” (you can thank my son’s kindergarten teacher for that gem!), and what their goals are. It’s easy to think that boudoir portraits are just “sexy pictures” but they are so much more. I’m capturing a person and the more I know them, the better the images will be. I really wanted to showcase M’s personality and her passions and I think we knocked it out of the park. Check out her images below and tell me what you think!

Tell us your story, a little bit about you and why you decided to do a boudoir session?

I chose to do a boudoir photo shoot for many reasons but the biggest was to boost my self esteem. I have struggled with my weight all of my life. I spent several years in a verbal, emotional, mental and physically abusive marriage. After being told how horrible you are/look for so many years, you begin to believe it. With my weight struggles and all of the abuse, I had zero self esteem. I was later in a 10 year relationship, my S/O spent 10 years helping me love myself again. Things between us changed, we grew apart and eventually split. My self esteem took another hit because I couldn’t figure out what happened between us; I thought something was wrong with me. Choosing to do a photo shoot with Cassy was exactly what I needed! I left there like I was the sexiest woman alive! 

Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Cassy compare to your prior experience?

Yes, I have done one before. My experience with Cassy was 100x’s more empowering than my first. She never made me feel uncomfortable. She was very patient with me and very encouraging. She even named my “girls.” Lol! Aaaaand I never thought I’d like my booty but she did it, I love it in my photos! 

What was your biggest concern prior to booking your Boudoir Session? How do you feel now?

My biggest concern was feeling comfortable but Cassy is amazing, I wasn’t uncomfortable at all! 

What, specifically, did you enjoy most about your portrait session and why?

I enjoyed every minute of my session, there was nothing I didn’t enjoy! Cassy is awesome! 

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

Yes and more!
