“Being in an abusive relationship, I lost all my confidence & had ZERO body positivity.”

Ms L is a strong lovely woman and is celebrating a 1 year anniversary of surviving abuse. A year since she liberated herself from an abusive relationship that tore down every shred of self confidence and self worth. We had a good conversation at her consultation, sharing stories together, and I couldn’t wait for her session to arrive. Surviving from abusive relationships isn’t a point A to point B journey which I knew first hand and it was exciting Ms L was trusting me to join her journey of healing and celebration.

She did such a great job preparing for her session. Her outfit choices were fantastic and she couldn’t have chosen better colors to accentuate her fair complexion. She looked so amazing next to my floral backdrop in her blush lingerie set, I officially named it after her! Check it out below-

What was your biggest concern prior to booking your Boudoir Session? How do you feel now?

My biggest concern was not having enough confidence. Cassy made me feel relaxed and made sure I was comfortable, which helped my confidence level.

Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? I was a first timer

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

I did the shoot to help boost my self confidence and body positivity after an abusive relationship.

What, specifically, did you enjoy most about your portrait session and why?

Getting to see how I actually look in other peoples eyes. 

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story.

It made me realize I do have confidence. Being in an abusive relationship, I lost all my confidence and had zero body positivity. I only saw what he did to me. Doing the shoot helped me heal and move towards the rest of my life. 

Do you feel your images and the services you received were worth the money you paid? How so?

Yes! I was unsure at first but this did wonders for my mental health.

Is there anything extra you would like to tell us?

I also struggled with my weight and it’s been hard getting back to how I used to be but these images made me realize I’m beautiful no matter what.
