You said it Kahlil! I see beauty in every shape and size all day every day as a boudoir photographer but today, we are going to focus on the Buxom Babe: the wonderfully curvaceous woman! My goal, as a photographer, is to highlight every woman’s sexy shape and here are a few tricks on how the right wardrobe can help! (Aren’t very buxom? Here is the post for my small elegant “Bijou” babes)

Shapewear

Never has shapewear been so sexy! Bodysuits like this or a high waisted brief like this gives you so many options and make shapewear your best friend. I LOVE this full length slip from Fig Leaves too! Wear it alone or underneath your lingerie- it’s so versatile. Corsets

Corsets have been around forever and are probably one of the best known pieces of lingerie. As a buxom babe, corsets will have your girls standing at attention and saying HELLO! Here are some purchasing tips: If your natural waist is under 38″ you want a corset that is 4-7 inches smaller. If your natural waist (where you bend at side to side) is over 38″, go 7-10 inches smaller.

Bodysuits

Anyone here remember the 90s and the emergence of so so many bodysuits? Well they are here and even sexier. The perfectly chosen bodysuit camouflage the areas you want and allow you to feel your true sexy self. With so many options to choose from, lace, satin, sheer mesh, halter, plunge neckline, cutouts, you are sure to find one that meets your needs.

Garter Belts

The ever popular garter belt! The trick to buying garter belts is go thicker in width. Thick belts are always more flattering than skinny ones. Tips here: make sure you choose one that sits at your natural waistline (up high) otherwise it can cause bulging on your sides and ain’t no one got time for that! Here is one with undies attached like the image above and here is another cute one that’s all lace and all flattering. PS- you could totally get some shapewear underneath that one!

No matter what outfit you choose, just remember what my friend Kahlil said above. Whatever you wear, the beauty from inside your heart will definitely shine through!
